Year 2005

An alien fossil is discovered by a nomadic tribe in the Gobi Gurvansaikhan region of southern Mongolia. Believing that it may be a hoax, the Chinese government sends a 3-man science team comprised of a paleontologist, an archaeologist, and a medical doctor to evaluate the information. They are surprised to find the decayed remains of a small humanoid being of extraterrestrial origin buried on the shallow soil of Mongolia’s unforgiving and arid steppe. The 4-foot tall creature bears resemblance to what alien conspiracy theorists call a “Grey.” The science team immediately notifies the Chinese government.

 

The Chinese secret police arrive at the Gobi Gurvansaikhan excavation site. They are shocked to see the science team and the tribesmen professionally executed. There is no trace of the alien specimen—only an empty excavation spot. Due to rumors of a covert United States Special Forces team operating near the area, the Chinese and Mongolian government speculates the assassins to be American soldiers. The United States is accused for the wrongful deaths and stolen “government property.” The President of the United States denies all allegations and travels to Asia on a frantic political campaign to calm the tension.

 

A team of Special Forces soldiers deliver a special cargo to a secret science facility in Hamato Island, Zaiban (Visit the online map of Zaiban). The facility is a privately owned laboratory of Cydonex Corporation, a multinational organization with ties to the blackmarket, arms smuggling, and human organ harvesting trade.

 

Cydonex Corporation officially names the science facility Theoretical Labs and security access is allowed only to select individuals personally approved by Cydonex Founder Christian Prince. A wide range of secret projects currently in development within the sprawling underground facility includes research on alien origins, advanced genetic cloning, extraterrestrial technology fabrication, biomolecular machinery and bio-nano robotics, direct-energy wave applications, multidimensional phasing, and mind control. The facility derives its funding from various undisclosed conglomerates and government sponsors, as well as from blackmarket transactions made by Cydonex Corporation.

 

A special development team at Theoretical Labs begins researching the possibility of cloning the impenetrable keratin-based skin structure of the alien specimen from Mongolia for the purpose of developing various indestructible organic-based body armor and weapons. Since keratin occurs naturally on human hair and nails, team leader and top biogeneticist, Dr. Gregori Danilov, strongly believes that human genes can be altered to produce a protein compound needed for recreating the same alien skin composite. The project is officially named Bodycast—an acronym for Biological Osmosis and DYnamically-Cloned Alien Skin Treatment.

 

Year 2008

Tourists, bystanders, and shoppers are killed by a massive terrorist bomb that devastates a whole city block in the local market plaza of Kneza Mihaila in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. Among the victims are the Stevan and Ana Radic, parents of ten year old Josif Radic. The orphaned boy is sent to live with his uncle, Marko Radic, in Kiev, Ukraine, where he spends his pre-teen years working in the claustrophic kitchen of his uncle’s modest restaurant. 30 years from now, Josif will become an assassin for Cydonex Corporation under an assumed name of Dragan Stugar. He will be one of the few Bodycast test subjects to survive the experimental DNA alteration process. They will call him Bodycast Glaive.

Year 2009

Single mother Ami Gano gives birth to her second son. She does not survive the delivery due to her anemic condition compounded by severe postnatal bleeding and improper medical care. The callous midwife decides to kidnap and sell Ami’s children for a generous sum to the Bloody Tigers, an organized crime syndicate based whose activities include racketeering, extortion, counterfeiting, prostitution, gambling, drug trafficking, and human smuggling. Ami’s 10-year old son, Ezu, is sold into child slavery while the youngest son is sold to a local couple in Kanlun City and is given the name Enso, after the circular Zen symbol associated with enlightenment and strength.

 

The Zaiban Police in Chaezon City (Visit the online map of Zaiban) raids a shoe factory suspected of manufacturing counterfeit products and employing illegal immigrants and criminals. They discover mistreated and malnutrition children working as slaves. Ezu Gano is among the children rescued and medically treated by government. He is then sent to Zaiban Child Services Department where he is cared for and educated by a non-profit organization established to help orphaned or abused children. Since then, he has never worn shoes—just sandals.

Year 2013

Multi-billionaire Japanese banker, Ken Kazano, and wife Mara Kazano celebrate the successful birth of their baby girl at the Kyoto University Hospital in Japan. The couple names their child Haze, meaning “flower” in Japanese. A month later, Ken hosts a mega-spectacular cherry blossom festival event in Kyoto. Costing more than $10 million and boasting a celebrity list consisting of popular actors and musicians, the occasion is broadcast all over Asia, the United States, and Europe. Also in attendance is Christian Prince, Founder of Cydonex Corporation.

Year 2016

Ezu Gano graduates from high school much earlier than his peers. The boy who was once forced into child slavery turns out to be a real computer genius. At the age of 17, Ezu begins studying graduate level courses in Applied Bionetic Technology. Thanks to his numerous academic sponsorships and outstanding recommendations from teachers, he is accepted at the prestigious Mailan International University where he meets his lifelong mentor, Dr. Zan Tendo.

 

Biomechatronics engineer, Dr. Karl Treger, is hired by Cydonex Corporation to research and develop utility robots and mechanized units for use in agriculture, manufacturing, military, and the space industry. His first successful invention is a robot-assisted space walk suit for NASA. A terrain-based version of the robot suit is also applied in deep sea excavation and geological oil resource survey industry.

Year 2018

Marko and nineteen year old Josif Radic legally immigrate to the United States. Marko had recently paid a large sum to an American woman for a false marriage status in order to qualify for a U.S. citizenship. He opens a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Portland, Oregon, that specializes in Ukrainian and Russian home-style cooking. The little establishment becomes a popular eatery for local Russian mobs, in particular, the powerful and influential Mirov Mafia family. Josif eventually becomes acquainted with members of the Mirov crime circle.

Ezu Gano makes business headline news with the development of a bionetic-based prototype computer system called Arahan Version 1.0. The light-weight, portable, durable, and touch-and-sensor driven computer reacts to natural human gesture, speech, and bioelectromagnetism produced by the body. Ezu quits Mailan International University and becomes the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ganotek Systems. His primary investors include Cydonex Corporation, Daesun Corp, Kazano Bank, Magnon Ventures & Capital, and Straden Industries.

 

A retail version of Arahan Version 2.0 hits the stores. The public reaction is immensely positive. Businesses and educational organizations quickly replace their old analog-input style computers (systems using a keyboard and mouse), with the bionetic-based Arahan personal computer workstations.

 

A multimedia version of Arahan Version 2.5 hits the stores. Again, the reviews are positive. The system quickly becomes the de facto computer for video gamers and media enthusiasts. Hollywood starts developing RDD (Response Definition Disc) movies compatible with Arahan Version 2.5. The computer industry releases RDD-R (Response Definition Disc – Recordable) storage media products, players, and devices.

 

Ezu Gano is featured on the front cover of Digital Era Magazine. The copy reads: The Next Steve Jobs! He is also named as one of the youngest and most eligible bachelor in the business world by Business Event Magazine. A profile on Smart Men magazine calls him “Rising Multimillionaire Playboy.”

 

Ezu Gano purchases an 11 million dollar palatial penthouse suite in the fashion-futuristic district of Mailan City. To go with his new flat, he also buys 2 Lamborghinis, 2 limited edition Ferraris, and 4 Ducati bikes. Frequented by supermodels and celebrities, his eccentric home is glorified in the lush pages of Architectural Digest magazine. But with all his new found fame and success, Ezu continues to wear normal sandals instead of shoes.

Ganotek Systems Founder/CEO Ezu Gano meets with his former mentor and bionetics professor at Mailan International University. Over some hot sake and spicy sushi, Ezu proposes a profitable business venture with Dr. Zan Tendo. The startup will specialize in developing high-end variable bikes for racing and street use. The bikes will incorporate adaptive engineering and technology based on bionetic technology. Both parties quickly come to a mutually beneficial accord, and the venture is incorporated as Zansports.

 

 

Zansports, developer of high-end variable racing and street bikes, unveils its flagship motorcycle at the Zaiban World Bike Expo. The extremely agile and blazingly fast Yamakasi VR racing bike is an instant glamour hit at the show and, by the end of the day, Zansports receives an amazing 17,000 preorders mainly from wealthy private collectors and racing enthusiasts. Despite the high price tag per unit of the Yamakasi VR, the company sales skyrocket and Zansports becomes a market leader in bike development and manufacturing. Despite aggressive maneuvers by competing companies to incorporate the same bionetic technology into their bikes in order to deplete Zansports’ growing market share, the public continues to recognize Zansports as the “best of the best” when it comes to racing and street bikes. The company’s slogan “Man and machine as one” becomes ingrained in racing history.

Zansports announces its latest product specifically made for crazy bike purists who want less high-end, flashy track speed and more low-end, butt-kicking torque and thrust. The brutal Yamakasi VT is essentially a street rider’s wet dream. With a deafening exhaust roar of an angry tyrannosaurus rex and a raw output power equivalent to Thor’s hammer, the Yamakasi VT quickly scores an epic place in the halls of Valhalla as well as in bike history.

 

Cydonex Corporation makes a tender bid to acquire Ezu Gano’s Ganotek Systems. Concurrently, the corporation extends a favorable offer to acquire Zansports.

 

Cydonex Corporation successfully acquires Ganotek Systems and Zansports. Employees of both companies are absorbed by Cydonex. Ezu Gano is made President of Business Development for Cydonex Corporation. Despite a generous offer by the corporation, Dr. Zan Tendo turns down a lucrative position as Chief Scientist of Mailan City-based Cydonex Product and Technology Division. Instead, he returns to Mailan International University where he institutes a multi-million dollar Bionetics Lab for students and manages the expanding Bionetics Technology Department.

 

Dr. Karl Treger is promoted to Chief Scientist of Cydonex Product and Technology Division – a prospect initially offered to Dr. Zan Tendo.

 

Josif Radic is officially sworn into the Mirov mafia family. From extortion to murder-for-hire work, he quickly gains favor within the ranks of the family for being dependable, loyal, and most of all, very brutal.

 

Dr. Gregori Danilov passes away due to old age. He was a biogenetic scientist at Cydonex’s top secret Theoretical Labs facility in Hamato Island, Zaiban. His role was instrumental in the development of Bodycast as a viable genetic cloning program for applications in biological weapons. Christian Prince assigns the unfinished Bodycast project to Dr. Dana Lin, a gifted biogeneticist and loyal assistant to Dr. Danilov.

 

 

Year 2022

Dr. Karl Treger, Chief Scientist of Cydonex Corporation, secretly develops an exoskeletal body suit based on nanotechnology, super-tenacity fibers, and memory alloys. He names the prototype as Battlecast. The synthetic suit enhances human strength and agility, while regulating body pressure and providing maximum protection. Initially intended as a light-weight, all-purpose space suit that could withstand the rigorous terrain and climate conditions on Mars, the strength of product proved to be impervious even to ballistic weapons and high explosives. Despite his exclusive contractual agreement with Cydonex, he conceals his experiments from the corporation and begins perfecting Battlecast for military combat purpose with the intent to sell production specification units of Battlecast to military agencies.

 

Dr. Zan Tendo’s Bionetic-Pulse technology amazes the world as his discovery brings man and machine closer together. His research and experiments are based on human bioelectromagnetism, biofeedback, and biodynamics.

He is formally introduced to Dr. Karl Treger during the conference. Karl quickly becomes an avid admirer and supporter of Zan’s cutting-edge discovery.

 

Dr. Karl Treger invites Dr. Zan Tendo to his secret laboratory in Hanzai City (Visit the online map of Zaiban) to brag about his Battlecast invention. He makes an offer to purchase and/or license Bionic-Pulse technology. Zan declines by making a statement that his technology “should enhance the well-being of mankind and must not be applied in aspects that could cause great harm to humanity.” Karl is left feeling severely livid and discouraged.

 

Dr. Karl Treger begins plotting against his friend, Dr. Zan Tendo. He knows that with Zan’s Bionetic-Pulse technology incorporated with his Battlecast invention, the suit will be unstoppable. Powered by biological electromagnetism instead of a synthetic or manufactured battery source that requires recharging and maintenance, his self-sustaining combat suit will be the first of its kind in the market… and in the battle field.

 

Dr. Karl Treger coerces his nephew, Jason Treger, to move to Zaiban to set up a business venture together. As a former United States Special Forces operative, Jason is exceedingly interested by the proposal to establish a privately-owned military contract company specializing in weapons development and manufacturing. Karl plans to use his growing wealth to fund the startup and provide the technological products for sale. Jason’s role will be divided between managing the business side, product training, and coordinating with his Pentagon and CIA contacts. Karl leases a spacious building in the warehouse district of Hanzai City, Zaiban (Visit the online map of Zaiban). He calls the startup Battle Dynamics Ltd.

 

Dr. Zan Tendo is awarded the United Earth Science Recognition Prize for his great accomplishments in the emerging field of Bionetics. His daughter, Mara Kazano, arrives from Japan to attend the award ceremony despite numerous protests from her jealous and demanding husband, Ken Kazano. High profile scientists, doctors, businessmen, and politicians are present at the event— including Dr. Karl Treger and Cydonex CEO Ezu Gano.

A massive laboratory explosion occurs late in the evening of June 16^th at Mailan International University’s Bionetics Technology Department. The disaster claims the lives of 30-year old Mara Kazano and 31-year old Jason Treger. Fire investigators conclude that the blast was the result of a faulty energy regulator in the Bionetic-Pulse Imaging Machine used to measure bioelectromagnetism in humans and animals. The device failed to normalize and store a safe capacity of electricity, thus causing the device to overload and explode.

 

Bullet wounds found on Jason’s body alerts the local police. Dr. Zan Tendo and Dr. Karl Treger become suspects in what is believed to be a murder cover-up. But lack of witness and inconclusive evidence leads to the exoneration of both Zan and Karl. Nevertheless, the incident becomes a media-wide scandal that rocks the year and torments Cydonex Corporation and Mailan International University with bad publicity.

 

Mara Kazano is laid to rest at Azuna Memorial Cemetery in her hometown of Azuna, Zaiban (Visit the online map of Zaiban). Nine-year old Haze Kazano is flown from Japan to attend the funeral service of her mother. Deeply distraught and depressed, she refuses to leave the site of her mother’s grave. Her father, Ken Kazano, promises to let her stay in Zaiban for as long as she wants so she can visit her mother any time. (Flashforward: This decision will eventually lead to Haze enrolling at Mailan International University and meeting Enso Kaido exactly fifteen years from this date.

Dr. Zan Tendo is forced out from his teaching position at Mailan International University. This same week, his son-in-law and CEO of Kazano Bank, Ken Kazano, files a lawsuit against him on the basis of Zan’s negligence to warn the family of the dangers of his experiments, his failure to properly install a safety device on the Bionetic-Pulse Imaging Machine, and for punitive damages. The legal ordeal would last many months and drain Zan nearly all of his financial resources.

 

At a secret lab in the warehouse district of Hanzai City (Visit the online map of Zaiban), Dr. Karl Treger uses stolen research data from Dr. Zan Tendo’s Bionetic-Pulse technology to power his experimental Battlecast suit. But before he could complete his prototype, he is suddenly kidnapped and tortured by Cydonex.

 

Dr. Karl Treger is terminated from his position at Cydonex Corporation. In a plea to save his life, he acquiesces to sign over authorship and patents to all his scientific ideas and inventions—including his prized Battlecast project as well as the stolen Bionetic-Pulse data—to the corporation. Karl is ruined both emotionally and financially and it would take years before he would find the desire and purpose to crawl himself out of the misery, humiliation, and his severe drinking problem.

Year 2024

Ganotek Systems releases the much anticipated Arahan Version 3.0 to the public. It is shipped with a powerful process management engine called Nirvana Version 1.0. This allows Arahan to precisely recognize human gestures, bioelectromagnetism, biofeedback, and biodynamics for faster user-interactive experience rate.

 

After decades of extensive research in the fields of special relativity and superstring theory, Quantum Physicist Dr. Edvard Brandt and his team at Cydonex Corporation's secret Offshore Lab #5 — located several miles southeast of Chaezon Bay (Visit the online map of Zaiban) — successfully opens a short-term time and space displacement rift to a new dimension believed to be the home world of the fossilized extraterrestrial creature found in Mongolia. (See Reference Date: September 16, 2005)

Though lasting for a mere fraction of a second, the experiment in superdimensional physics yields sufficient quantum and cosmographic data for the team to configure an accurate supersymmetric frequency that could sustain more rifts to the same dimension in the near future. Dr. Brandt officially records his discovery of the new world as World-7609 Cydonia (after a Greek goddess).

In a private meeting with the Board of Directors of Cydonex Corporation, Dr. Brandt summarizes the results, "Before the discovery of the alien specimen in Mongolia, my team at Offshore Lab #5 was blindly experimenting on endless variables of random vibrational constituents. It was much like trying to dial the telephone number of a place we have no idea. The equation and challenge was just too stratospheric. Luckily for us, the Project: BODYCAST team over at Theoretical Labs was kind enough to share the DNA samples of the alien specimen. Instead of focusing on random variables to create a superdimensional rift to other multiverses, we decided to test the alien DNA on an atomic scale for distinct or unique supersymmetrical string harmony. Much to our surprise, we were able to decode a particular pattern, or frequency, resonating from the electrons of the alien sample we tested. We were able to 'lock-on' to it and, much like dialing a working telephone number, we successfully opened a direct connection to the alien's home world."

He continues, "Another significant discovery was how the vibrational code of the electrons of human beings closely matches that of the alien from Mongolia. Even though the vibrations of electrons are particular to its home world within the fabric of the multiverse, rifts can easily be opened between dimensions with closely matching frequencies. This explains how this race of aliens was able to visit earth despite their world being millions of light-years away. Their transit was done not by Hollywood-style spacecrafts or worm holes, but rather through superdimensional rifts in space and time. Similar to the children story of Alice in Wonderland, traveling to and from our world is as easy as putting your hand through the looking glass. With the available data from the recent superdimensional rift experiment, I am highly confident that more rifts to other similarly 'coded' dimensions can be established on a stable and controlled level."

After the meeting, Cydonex Chairman Christian Prince grants substantial funding to Dr. Brandt in the development of better technology that can manifest stable rifts to Cydonia and possibly to greater multiverses (meta-universes).

Year 2027

 

A Cydonex scientific expeditionary team led by biogeneticist Dr. Dana Lin and paleontologist Dr. Yuri Danilov travel to Wrangel Island, a small landmass located between Chukshi Sea and East Siberian Sea, in search of mammoth fossils believed to have died of an infectious disease of alien origin. The basis for the expedition comes from old UFO stories and sightings detailed in a private journal by Sergei Danilov, a former Russian KGB and grandfather to Yuri. Interestingly, Yuri is the only son of former Theoretical Labs biogeneticist Dr. Gregori Danilov.

 

 

Initially hoping to bring back a fossil or two for data testing, instead the science expeditionary team unearths a perfectly preserved carcass of an alien being in the permafrost soil near Mamontovaya River. Dr. Danilov identifies the creature as a Chitonid, a race of humanoid aliens often referred to by conspiracy theorists as Greys. Unlike the 1947 Roswell alien incident or the 2005 alien fossil discovery in Mongolia, the 10,000 year old Wrangel Island alien is fully encased in organic body armor. Based on the ritualistic layout of its death, it is clear that the specimen was revered as a god by early humans.

 

The science team unearths another alien fossil in the same area five days later. Semi-preserved and excavated much deeper in the permafrost soil near Gusinaya River, the second creature bears insect-like appendages and hard carapace shells.

 

The science team secretly transports both specimens back to a Cydonex’s Theoretical Labs facility in Hamato Island, Zaiban. (Visit the online map of Zaiban.) The insectoid creature is identified by Dr. Yuri Danilov as a Necronid alien species. The public is never made aware of the alien findings.

 

Cydonex Corporation’s Theoretical Labs team discovers and isolates an infectious alien microbe within the body of the Neconid specimen. Almost immediately, Cydonex establishes a new “shadow” program called Regenesis Project to develop a vaccine against the pathogen using reverse genetics technology. Their research would yield a preliminary vaccine called Cydroxin.

 

Shortly after the alien discovery, Cydonex Corporation establishes a private military consulting and security company. Called Blackstar Security, the subsidiary employs over 100 former Special Forces soldiers and retired law enforcement agents. An additional 150 active personnel are employed at multiple departments including administrative, medical, and support services. At its inception, Blackstar has already been plagued with controversies made by its critics claiming it to be a modern “praetorian guard” set up to aggressively protect Cydonex and its highly questionable secrets. The corporation makes a publicly announcement rebuffing the accusations and stating on record that Blackstar is merely a contract consulting company that offers strategic security services to various governments, businesses, and humanitarian organizations. Nevertheless, allegations of tactical hit squads, murder cover-ups, extortions, and illegal arms sales continue begin to circulate.

 

The Cydonex scientific expeditionary team returns to Wrangel Island, escorted by fully-armed Blackstar Security agents, to visit an abandoned Russian Gulag prison camp located on the south east area of the island. The site made news in the mid-20^th century as a “concentration camp” and was investigated by the U. S. Senate Internal Security Subcommittee for the prison’s inhumane use of an atomic reactor in secret radiation experiments performed on live American and international prisoners captured during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Science team leader, Dr. Dana Lin, discovers evidence that the camp was actually used to test an experimental biological weapon based on an alien pathogen similar to what may have caused the massive extinction of woolly mammoths in the area. She concludes in her report that the Russians conducted a controlled radiation exposure experiment on prisoners infected with the alien microbe.

 

Horrified by what she has seen at Wrangel Island, Dr. Lin suffers from severe paranoia and dementia. She fears what Cydonex would do with the alien findings. Reluctant to return home, she eludes her group and secretly travels to China via a fishing boat.  

 

Dr. Dana Lin goes into hiding after threatening to expose her findings to the public. Cydonex Corporation Chairman, Christian Prince, is deeply enraged and orders Blackstar Security to resolve the problem.

 

Dr. Dana Lin’s naked body is found on a secluded alley in Sichuan, China. Three center-mass bullet wounds on the chest suggest she was professionally executed. One day later, Dr. Lin’s husband and daughter are killed in a terrible car explosion in Taipei, Taiwan.

 

Cydonex Corporation infuses a considerable amount of capital derived from its various business revenues as well as from its illegal activities such as arms trade, war profiteering, and digital terrorism, to accelerate various “shadow” projects under development by the corporation’s top secret Theoretical Labs division. The Bodycast Project and the Regenesis Project receives the majority of the funds. Dr. Yuri Danilov is named Chief Scientist.

Year 2029

 

After over a decade of exemplary loyalty and service to the Mirov crime business, thirty year old Josif Radic is finally sworn into the family and is given the rare privilege—much more so for a person of Serbian background—to bear and represent the Mirov family tattoo on his chest and arms. The secret ceremony is presided by Anton Mirov, godfather of the Mirov family, and witnessed by an attendance of powerful mafia bosses from various Russian crime families collectively known as the “Organizatsiya.”

 

 

Josif’s rising influence within the family raises extreme jealousy among many Mirov members including Anton’s spoiled and remorseless oldest son, Alexei Mirov.

 

Alexei Mirov and his two younger brothers kidnap, torture, and rape Josif’s fiancée, Amelia Chang. Her brutal death stirs immense news in the Portland, Oregon. The Mirov family is severely shamed by the treachery of the three brothers, yet does nothing to punish any of them. Instead, godfather Anton Mirov immediately doubles his protection force and handsomely pays the corrupt district attorney and local law enforcement officers to wrongfully pin the murder of Amelia on Josif and his uncle. The Federal Bureau of Investigations joins the police in a nation-wide manhunt for the two suspects. The Radics are forced to escape to Vancouver, Canada, by boat.

 

The body of Amelia Chang is laid to rest at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland. Josif is overwhelmed and distraught by the loss of his beloved fiancée, and not being to attend her funeral service further boosts his thirst for vengeance. Marko tries every bit of effort to calm his deeply enraged nephew but he knows that Josif is beyond help at this point—pungent blood will soon fill the humid air around the Mirov residence.

 

Godfather Anton Mirov decides to send away his three sons to Russia in order to avoid the FBI. The FBI is forced to alter their case motive on the Radics due to conflicting reports and possible evidence tampering from corrupt officers. Amelia Chang’s family still believe Josif to be the likely suspect due to his criminal association and ethic background. (They never did like him being around her to begin with.)

 

A mysterious recruiter from Blackstar Security locates Josif Radic at a filthy hostel in Bucharest, Romania. He offers the tired fugitive a new chance in life as part of an elite private security team. Josif is insulted and declines.

 

Knowing that his cover is blown at Bucharest, Josif quickly leaves for a new life in Lisbon, Portugal. Enroute to his destination, he is recognized by three men associated with the Russian Mafia. They follow him for quite some time before attacking him at a gas station in France. The mysterious Blackstar Security recruiter arrives just in time to save Josif. Severely injured with gun shots wounds, Josif finally agrees to join Blackstar Security in return for a new life and protection for his uncle hiding in Canada.

 

Josif relocates to Euroshima, Zaiban, where he is officially inducted into the elite Blackstar Security force. All of his personal records in Serbia, Ukraine, and the United States are destroyed to cover his true identity. He is forged a new name, passport, financial & tax records, and other falsified biographical data as Dragan Strugar, a part-time romantic literature and music tutor in Zaiban. Cydonex and Blackstar Security also extend a new identity, a modest bank account, and a relocation service for Marko Radic as Donald Gavran, a retired office clerk from Arizona, U.S., vacationing in Sendai, Japan.

Cydonex Corporation, in partnership with telecom electronics manufacturer Metacoms and media company Feraxia Studios, unveils the world’s first ever compact bionetic computer platform with interactive holographic display communication capability. This day marks a big leap for technology as it brings the world closer together in 3D network quality. The computer product is aptly given the name The World.

 

The World ships with the latest release of Arahan Version 4.0 operating system with Nirvana 2.0 management engine. The new version of Nirvana is programmed with PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm for efficient data payload management and distribution. (*See Particle Swarm Optimization.)

By the end of the year, millions of units are sold to government agencies, corporations, and to the global market. Ezu Gano feels livid by the change but continues to support Cydonex’s decision.

 

*Multi-phase sat-link is a high-speed data bus connection/integration that is fed from any virtual satellite network offered by global telecommunications companies. Virtual Satellite Networking, or VSN, began as a “wirelessly-interconnected” satellite cluster project developed by the United States DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) program during the early 21^st century. Its technological purpose was to replace traditional all-in-one satellite systems in space with smaller, cost-effective modular satellite systems that act as cluster groups for better data scalability, handling, and sharing well into the 22^nd century.

 

Tetra Bryce, daughter of a multi-millionaire German doctor, graduates at the top of her class at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in Great Britain. With a strong background education in communication, management, and war studies, Tetra is immediately recruited by a headhunter offering a well-paid position at Cydonex Corporation. To her surprise, the caller was none other than Christian Prince, the mysterious Founder and Chairman of Cydonex. She is given the executive role to spearhead Blackstar Security as its President and International Executive Relations Coordinator. Tetra Bryce makes a bold decision to mobilize Blackstar Security’s main operations aboard a nuclear carrier ship built by Korean-based Daesun Corporation and purchased by Cydonex Corporation for an undisclosed amount. The news stirs mixed public opinions with some critics condemning it as “the start of a highly mobilized form of global military terrorism.” The ship comes complete with full combat and personnel amenities including a medical service facility, live-fire training facilities, well-stocked munitions depot, highly advance data and digital communications control center, automated defense and guidance systems, and an aircraft hangar readied 24/7 with 5 multi-purpose helicopters, 2 heavy-lift helicopters, 5 short-range V/STOL (Vertical/Short Takeoff and Landing) strike jets, 2 long-range assault boats, and 2 short-range quick-deployment submarines for exploration and transport services. Cydonex states that all are used for protection and humanitarian purposes only. (But everyone knows that is not true.) Christian Prince names the carrier ship as Paladin.

 

Cydonex secretly handpicks seven of the best agents from Blackstar Security to participate in the Bodycast Program at Theoretical Labs.

 

 

Dragan Strugar (real name: Josif Radic | See Reference Date: January 16, 2008) is among the few candidates chosen to be one of Cydonex’s genetically-enhanced Bodycast assassins. Of the seven candidates—most of whom had served in the U.S. Special Forces and British SAS programs—only Dragan survives the intense Bodycast treatment. The other six die during the biogenetic engineering procedure or from severe complications as the result of it. Dragan begins showing signs of anti-aging and unique extraterrestrial powers. However, X-ray tests reveal a malignant spot developing in his brain. He starts complaining of mild headaches. The scientists at Theoretical Labs refer to him as Bodycast Glaive.

Year 2032

 

Cydonex Corporation secretly releases the Necronid alien microbe on the unsuspecting population of Changzu Island, Zaiban (Visit the online map of Zaiban).

 

 

The pathogen quickly spreads throughout the Changzu Island. The local hospital is quickly overwhelmed beyond capacity. Not knowing the pathology of the disease, doctors immediately contact the Zaibanese Institute of Infection and Immunology (ZIII) for assistance.

 

The government orders the Zaibanese Imperial Navy and Zaiban Maritime Security to quarantine the perimeter around the island and prevent any non-military maritime vessel from entering or leaving the area. The Zaibanese Institute of Infection and Immunology (ZIII) sends a team comprised of virologists and medical doctors to investigate the outbreak. They are horrified to learn that 47 people have already died due to an unknown skin disease, and another 154 people have been transformed into grotesque creatures with cannibalistic cravings. The outbreak overwhelms the ZIII team and, in a last ditch effort to save themselves, they retreat to an abandoned military base until the government can send an evacuation team.

 

Dr. Robert Wen, chief medical examiner attached to the group, morbidly records the adverse effects of the disease as “a cross between a zombie and a vampire.” He explicitly notes in his report that “the pathogen has caused the victims to develop a raw and insatiable hunger for human blood tissue. As such, they are displaying an extremely aggressive and volatile nature. They have also evolved to form a collective sense of intelligence and emotions. Each affected member of the group is a ‘node’ that relays information back to the others via a shared psychic link.” In his final medical data entry, he concludes, “We came to Changzu Island thinking that the pathogen is a mutated strain of the avian flu virus. But we have just witnessed is an alien microbe that could reduce mankind to corpse-like monsters.”

 

Cydonex Corporation steps in to advice the Zaibanese government of an immediate resolution to the epidemic on Changzu Island before it spreads beyond the quarantine zone. The government scrutinizes a specific strategy devised by the corporation to completely annihilate the population using an experimental incendiary ordnance called vector-plasma bomb which causes widespread destruction similar to a small-yield nuclear bomb but without radiation or critical mass effects. The corporation quickly ships two top secret crates containing vector-plasma bombs to a military fire base in Prana Island, Zaiban (Visit the online map of Zaiban).

 

Two Zaibanese navy strike jets drop vector-plasma bombs on Changzu Island. The area is incinerated within seconds. To prevent exposing and/or endangering military soldiers, local law enforcements, and government emergency personnel to the pathogen, the Zaibanese government subcontracts Blackstar Security to aid in the containment process and sweep the island for any trace of the epidemic using plasma incendiary weapons. The surviving team from the Zaibanese Institute of Infection and Immunology are found hiding deep inside a bomb shelter in an abandoned military base. The medical examiner performing the autopsy is shocked to find the victim’s heart “completely melted” inside the body. This marks the very first successful assassination using Cydonex’s vector-plasma based Direct-Energy-Wave Weapons Technology.

General Machines Group, Lucidant International, Metacoms, Honeyrise Food, Motte Group, Arakawa Bank, Telequest, Globalcast, Aerosys, Daesun Corporation, and Genscient Company are among the top-tier investors. Kazano Bank, Trendspace, Digitalix Inc, Hedron Holdings Group, DeepSea Industries, NovaMars AG, Kaisen Dynamics AG, Asiacorp, American Compunetics, Veneon Media Group, Universal Food Corp, and Magnon Ventures & Capital round off the second-tier investors.

 

Opposed to the plan is a short list of countries including the United Kingdom, Russia, Canada, Indonesia, Thailand, Mongolia, Greece, Portugal, Africa, Turkey, the Arab Emirate States, New Iraq, and Israel. The Pope and the Vatican condemns the plan and calls Cydonex Corporation as the “harbinger of death.”

 

The Vatican commits to a pact with Cydonex and supports the Regenesis Solution. In return, Christian Prince donates a highly sensitive ancient religious artifact to the Vatican Religious Conservatory Group. Cydonex secretly perfects two successful drug applications: Cydroxin Substance-A (code name: Monster Mash) for biological weapons and Cydroxin Substance-B (code name: Moonshine) for public consumption.

Prelude to the Regenesis Solution begins with lethal actions against opposing parties. Scientists, businessmen, and politicians who condemned the conspiracy or failed to support it are assassinated in a matter of days.

The Regenesis Solution receives full cooperative support from its sponsors and previous critics. The plan to secretly alter human DNA on a global scale becomes a reality. Year 2034

 

Enso Kaido enrolls at the Mailan International University evening classes and meets Haze Kazano, daughter of the wealthy and prominent Japanese banker, Ken Kazano.

 

It is a rainy day in Mailan City. While driving home from the university, Haze notices a car dangerously spinning out of control and in the direction of a school boy waiting at a bus stop. A man on a motorcycle suddenly appears at the scene and rescues the boy. Haze rushes over to see if help is needed. Weeding through the street crowd, she finds out that the brave man is Enso. Later, she sees him drenched from the rain, nursing a bruised shoulder, and pushing his broken bike home. She offers to give him a ride and on the way, they quickly discover an interest for each other.

Enso invites Haze to a Sunday ride around town. They cruise the glitzy streets of Mailan City before spending the rest of the afternoon watching the golden sunset at a romantic spot on the seaside strip of Mailan Bay. This day marks their first official date together.

Looking expand her studies in Bionetics, Haze pesters her grandfather to let her help around his home-based laboratory. Haze’s father is disappointed by her keen interest in science since he had hoped for her to follow in his footsteps and assume the family business. He also despises the idea of his daughter’s growing admiration for her grandfather. He constantly reminds Haze that Zan’s bionetic experiments were the cause of her mother’s death. Nonetheless, she ignores her father’s advice.

Enso and Haze confirm their romantic feelings for each other.

Year 2035

 

Multi-billionaire businessman and founder of Japanese-based Kazano Bank, Ken Kazano, discover his daughter’s secret love affair with Enso Kaido. To him, the whole thing is highly suspect. He confronts Haze with a harsh lecture on maintaining conservative family values and college responsibilities reflective of how a daughter of Japan’s most esteemed banker should conservatively behave and appear in public. He holds no qualms whatsoever in expressing his disgust in the romantic involvement of his daughter with a man who is not of high society stature and/or affluent family background. He is considerably repulsed by the sheer thought of an “orphaned street kid” with zero net worth inheriting a portion of the well-established Kazano fortune.

 

Due to denigrating pressure from Haze’s demanding father, Enso and Haze seriously contemplate the idea of running away together on the day of their one-year anniversary. The couple hopes to secretly get married and start a new life together at the picturesque Narina Islands, Zaiban (Visit the online map of Zaiban). Enso plans to open a home-based mechanic shop while Haze explores her love for music by composing her own songs. (The couple never wished for more than what they modestly thought they would genuinely enjoy doing in life. Little do they know that their world will forever change by brooding events to come.)

 

Ken Kazano receives an anonymous tip concerning his daughter’s furtive plan to runaway. Ken uses his financial influence as an investor on Cydonex’s Regenesis Solution (See Reference Date: December 27, 2032) to convince Cydonex CEO Ezu Gano in including Enso to the list of pre-selected subjects to be kidnapped for a secret biogenetics experiment that he had heard about. (See Reference Date: October 8, 2005) Ezu tries to deny the existence of such project but Ken negotiates an offer that would greatly benefit Cydonex and mark the biggest mistake of his life. The key consideration to Ken’s savory offer gives Cydonex the clout to use Kazano Bank as a money laundering entity for its illegal operations. An additional juicy concession to the deal gives Cydonex the option to privately (and illegally according to the Zaibanese stock market) purchase a near-controlling 32% stake in the Kazano Bank enterprise—thereby diluting Ken’s actual share down to 12%, while public investors still retain 56% majority hold. (Yes, he wasn’t thinking at the time. To him, losing his only daughter meant more than losing the Kazano Bank.) Believing that his decision to betray Enso will permanently sever the relationship between his daughter and her proletarian lover, Ken’s callous act sets in motion the end of Cydonex as Enso will soon become the most powerful and feared Bodycaster to come out of the biogenetics program.

 

Hours before Enso and Haze plan to runaway from Mailan City, a team of Blackstar agents storm Enso’s apartment and abducts him. Haze is brokenhearted when her boyfriend fails to show up at their secret meeting spot. She files a missing person report case with the local police but to no avail. Enso is committed to the Bodycast Program and is given the project codename of XEON.

 

Enso undergoes a fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) to prepare him for his biogenetic treatment. A tissue mass is removed for further preparation and studies.

 

Enso is officially subjected to biogenetics treatments in order to alter his DNA sequence and recombobulate his genes with an alien genetic code called CCX (Chitonid Chromosome X). He is given a full dosage of Cydroxin Substance-A, a gene-altering drug, and is subjected to intense gene-splicing therapy and genotoxification procedures. The initial attempt fails miserably and the subject nearly dies.

 

A second attempt to alter Enso’s DNA sequence is successful. The subject’s body rapidly adapts to the alien genetic code CCX.

 

Year 2036

 

Enso is painfully subjected to electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and shows the first sign of random Bodycast “skin hardening.” The hardening effect lasts only a second.

Christian Prince celebrates his 44^th birthday at the Museum of London. (No one really knows his true age—it is just assumed that he is 44 years old.) In attendance are some of the world’s most influential and wealthy people. At the gala event, Christian makes a stunning public announcement that he will contribute 11 billion dollars of his personal wealth to various charities. He ends his spectacular speech by donating to the British museum a piece of important historical artifact from his private collection. The world watches in awe as Christian presents to the current King of England what is believed to be King Arthur’s lost legendary Excalibur (Caliburn) sword! Ken Kazano of Kazano Bank is present to witness the glorious occasion.

 

Mass spectrometry test confirms the patina found on the sword’s surface to be of medieval period and originating from the Southern British Isles. Further extensive testings such as carbon dating on the leather-bound handle cover and crystallography on the metal blade prove highly conclusive and authentic. There are no signs of master forgery or tampering on the artifact. It is real and it becomes the major medieval artifact find of the century. News of the sword is widely covered by the media and it spawns several fictional Hollywood movies and documentary films. Using Arahan computer simulated chemical analysis and test applications, Dr. Yuri Danilov and a team of geneticists at Theoretical Labs begin development of an enhanced version of Cydroxin Substance-C. The successor drug is called Cydroxin Substance-D (codename: Soulscape).

 

For many years Cydonex CEO Ezu Gano has been searching for his long lost brother. On the evening of March 15th, he finally discovers the identity of his sibling as none other than Enso Kaido! He is distraught by the irony that he had committed his own brother to the Bodycast Program! Ezu puts together a plan to rescue Enso.

 

Ezu Gano contacts Dr. Zan Tendo, his former professor and mentor at Mailan International University, and divulges top secret details concerning Cydonex Corporation, including its Bodycast program and alien conspiracies. He also discloses his complex plan to free Enso from the Bodycast Program. Zan is swayed by the motive and sees it as an opportunity to stop Cydonex from using his stolen bionetic discoveries for malevolent purposes. Before parting ways, Ezu entrusts a secret data disk to Zan with specific instructions on when, where, and to whom it should be given to. In it are all the secrets of Cydonex Corporation within the last 100 years.

 

Enso’s BTP-3 is complete. The experiment to transform Enso into a Cydonex super assassin/enforcer is successful—with the only task left to perform is the reprogramming of the subject’s brain with mind-controlling commands and forged memories to reflect his new identity and personality.

 

Enso is scheduled for a full neural reprogramming and mind-alteration treatment in the morning of April 3^rd. Cydonex CEO Ezu Gano sabotages the lab and frees Enso from captivity. Hours later, Ezu commits suicide via a self-inflicted gun shot to the head.

 

This same week, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cydonex Corporation, Christian Prince, is named “Man of the Century” by the prestigious World Life Magazine. His profile also graces the cover of this month’s prominent publications such as Business Event Magazine, Digital Era Magazine, and Zaiban Times. Incongruously, Cydonex Corporation’s stock price plummets this day due to the news of CEO Ezu Gano’s unexpected death.

 

A terrified Enso finds himself wandering the streets of Mailan City with a freak skin condition and no recollection whatsoever of what just happened to him. He is hunted by a death squad from Blackstar Security and, while trying to evade from being killed or captured, he ironically runs into his former girlfriend, Haze Kazano, on the streets of Shibura Market District of Mailan City, Zaiban (Visit the online map of Zaiban). Despite the bitterness still in her heart, she offers her help and introduces Enso to her grandfather, Dr. Zan Tendo.

 

Enso learns that Cydonex CEO Ezu Gano was his brother. Dr. Zan Tendo discloses details concerning the activities of Cydonex Corporation and the origin of Enso’s Bodycast power via a digital disk containing everything about the corporation.

Tetra Bryce orders the Bodycast assassin Glaive (alias: Dragan Stugar | Real name: Josif Radic) to destroy Enso.
